Enogastronomy. Great chefs in Vico Equense
A New project in Vico Equense for the
valorization of the typical products in the
Sorrentine coast.

Twenty two of the most important chefs
from the world of international gastronomy
cooking will be guests in Vico Equense
from 28th to 30th may for the manifestation
“Great chefs in Vico Equense”. It has been
organized by the Azienda Autonoma di Cura,
Soggiorno e Turismo in cooperation with the
Local Council, the hotel association,
the hotelier school “ Francesco de Gennaro”
and the restaurant “Torre Del Saracino”.
The purpose is to promote the typical
products of the Sorrentine peninsula, and an
exchange of knowledge of international cuisine.
The tastes and fragrances of the ingredients,
are the common theme of the three days, whose
protagonists, the most prestigious chefs in
the world, will be asked to interpreter,
their way, the traditional dishes using
originality and creativity to produce new dishes.

During the event there will be guided tours and exhibitions. On Sunday 28th may
at 10.00 in the main square Umberto, an informative desk will be set up
to book guided tours to the historical center, the cathedral,
and mineralogical museum. At 19.00 a local products exhibition will start.
It will take place on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th.
On the 29th at 21.00, the chefs will be working in some of the most
important restaurants in Vico Equense, at the delight of tourists and locals.
On the evening of 30th May, at the tourist resort “le Axidie” in Marina
Aequa, ther will be a presentation of typical products, reserved for
the operators of the sector.
